2 relaxing day trips (of about 6.5 hours riding each + breaks)
The first of these daytrips will lead us to the evergreen spring-village of Argiroupolis. On our way we will also visit the ancient site of Lappa, today well known for its avocados. This trail is an escape to ancient times during which plenty of variety is offered.
The second daytrip stands guarantee for an unforgettable day! A long fantastic beach ride, riding on dirt tracks along the sea and than ... swimming with the horses! For those who can't get enough of Crete's outstanding natural beauty, there is also a short visit to the Gorge of Petres.

1 beautiful mini-safari (of about 4 hours riding + breaks)
This mini-safari is a combined ride. It starts off along the long sandy beach of Georgioupoli and continues over country roads to the blue-green Lake of Kournas. Simply wonderful!

Food
The package includes lunch at local taverns during the 2 daytrips.
Flight & hotel transfer
The flight, public busses and boat fee is not included. Count for this about 30 Euro extra.
The transfer from the airport, harbor to and from your hotel is included. Also the daily transfer between your studio and the stables is included. As is the transfer from your luggage from Georgioupoli to your hotel in Chania.
And ... After the riding comes the hiking!!
Take the public bus to Omalos and hike down Europe's longest gorge: the Samaria gorge. You will walk mainly downhill for about 4.5 hours to complete this 17 km long adventure.
You can choose to stay overnight either in Agia Roumeli or in quiet Sougia. When spent the night in Agia Roumeli, take the next morning the boat to Sougia.
After a walk of about 2 kms you'll reach the entrance of the peaceful Agia Irini Gorge, which is a lot shorter than the Samaria (8 kms), but will take you about 5 hour to walk through!
In the village of Agia Irini you can take the bus back to Chania, where you can spend your last night in a romantic hotel in the old harbor. Your luggage will be brought from Georgioupoli to Chania, so you'll only carry your back-pack during the hike. Accommodation on bed & breakfast base included.
