7 days, 5 days riding roundtrip - Island Crossing

This exciting and varied 5-days trip across the island starts by an unforgettable beach ride along the long sandy beach of Georgioupoli.
For those who always have been dreaming to gallop along the shore line, this will be a dream coming true.
Over the traditional village of Kastellos, we will set our way to Argiroupoli. This evergreen village is famous for its water springs and avocados. Quite a special surrounding...
Over ancient Lappa and straight through the Kotsifou Canyon we will reach the village of Mirthios were we will spend our first night.
As the first day is a quite demanding one, the second day offers more relaxation. You will be astonished by the brightness & the lucidity of the Lybian Sea. The roughness of the coastline, the fragility of the wild flowers, the mysterious atmosphere created by the rocks arising from the sea, the feeling of endlessness... You will be able to experience it all!
Mainly over dirt roads and goat tracks we will follow the ancient aqua duct to KatoMoni Preveli. Superb nature all over! A feeling of peace and quietness will fulfill you. Taste the freedom of swimming in the sea and of course also of the tasty traditional Cretan cuisine near "the Palm Riverquot". Following the coastline and breathing the magic feeling that accompanies it, we will reach the village of Karemes. From there we will ride through the hills to beautiful Triopetra were we will spend the night.
After a lovely breakfast we ride off road through the valley to the village of Akoumia. Olive grooves, wild flowers, grazing sheep and splendid views are also on today's menu. The end stop of this third day is the traditional village of Spili, well known for its Venetian lion heads fountains.
The fourth day we will make our way up north again through nature pure and traditional small villages. We will visit the medieval site of Voripari and the Minoan Nekropolis up from Armeni. Close to Gonia we will spend the night.
Our last day will lead us back over well hidden paths to Georgioupoli.
Villages like Gerani, Koufi, Karoti, Episcopi, Dramia will color up this wonderful day. But the visit of Kournas Lake and the superb beach ride back to our starting point will round of this amazing and unforgettable round trip.

Accommodation for 6 nights in a studio or hotel included.
Food
Breakfast, lunch and dinner for the whole 7 days is included.
Flight & hotel transfer
The flight is not included, the transfer from the airport, harbor to and from the hotel is included.
